Opportunities for health, growth, and transformation present themselves in many ways in our lives. Counseling and psychotherapy offer a supportive medium in which one can become more conscious and whole as life's journey unfolds. By engaging in opportunities for self-examination and personal reflection, I believe we afford ourselves the potential to live more meaningful lives and share our personal gifts with the world.
I believe change, healing and transformation occur when individuals are supported to evoke their own life purpose and ground that vision into their daily life. With the upmost respect for the unique worldview of each client, I approach the counseling process in general from a client centered standpoint, incorporating an eclectic blend of directive modalities as indicated. I work with individuals, couples, adolescents and groups.
I have a Masters degree in Community Counseling from Adams State College. Having grown up in Montezuma and Dolores Counties and I have a strong understanding of the diversity inherent in our rural community.
